After payment, the buyer needs to redirect to success page of the merchant website. In that page, payment data with status should be shown to the buyers. To redirecting buyer with payment data automatically, some configuration is needed on the PayPal business account. This step-by-step guide will show how you can configure PayPal Auto Return and Payment Data Transfer for Live Business account.
For PayPal business account, follow the below steps.
- Log into your PayPal business account.
- Click on Profile link from the header navigation menu. Click on Profile and settingslink.
- You would be navigated to the My Profile page. Click on the Selling tools menu from the left navigation panel. Now click on Update link in Website preferences section.
- You would be redirected to the Website Payment Preferences page. Do the following changes.
Under the Auto Return for Website Payments section turn Auto Return on and enter the Return URL.
Under the Payment Data Transfer (optional) section turn on Payment Data Transfer. In order to use this feature, you must turn on Auto Return.
Click on Save button.
